Here’s what you can expect from a biological approach to oral health care. A biological dentist:
- Will never use mercury (silver amalgam) fillings.
- Follows protective protocols when removing mercury fillings.
- Offers biocompatibility testing for dental materials.
- Will never use fluoride.
- Practices biocompatible gum therapy.
- Is trained to diagnose & treat cavitations (holes in the jaw bone).
- Uses equipment to sterilize instruments without toxic chemicals & to prevent waterline biofilms.
- Uses digital X-ray technology to significantly reduce the harmful effects of radiation.
- Works with other allied health professionals (MDs, naturopaths, nutritionists).
