Perfect Your Smile with Veneers
If you’re dreaming of achieving brighter, straighter-looking teeth, we can help make it a reality.
Veneers are an option to help improve the appearance of your teeth, without having to go through the process of braces or Invisalign.
Book an appointment to discover if veneers are right for you. Our team will be happy to go over the process and answer any questions you have.
What Are Veneers?
Veneers are thin, custom-made shells that are attached to the front surface of your teeth to help approve the appearance of your smile. Veneers can change the colour, size, and shape of your teeth, treating cosmetic concerns such as:
- Discolouration
- Dental implants
- Irregularly shaped or sized teeth
- Teeth that are worn down
- Gaps between teeth
The Veneers Process
During your dental exam, we’ll be happy to discuss your candidacy for veneers. Our team will examine the thickness of your enamel, the health of your gums, and if veneers can address your dental desires.
Preparing Your Teeth
In order to create space and have the veneers fit securely, your dentist will reshape the surface of your teeth. Removing and trimming the enamel may require numbing the area.
Making an Impression
Next, your dentist will take impressions of your teeth to create your permanent veneers. It can take around 2–4 weeks for your permanent veneers to be ready. In the meantime, temporary veneers will be applied and worn.
Bonding Your Veneers
To achieve your desired look, your dentist will examine the fit and colour of your permanent veneers and make any necessary adjustments.
Once satisfied, your natural teeth will be cleaned, polished, and etched to prepare for bonding. Your new veneers will then be cemented to your teeth.
